VISIT WEST IS RECRUITING A DIRECTOR OF BIDS

Salary: 60,000 to 65,000 depending on experience

Bristol is amongst the UK’s most economically successful cities with high employment and a steady increase in economic activity. Bristol also regularly wins awards for quality of life and the vibrancy and breadth of its cultural and leisure offer.

Visit West is both the BID company for the three central Bristol Business Improvement  Districts (BIDs) and the Destination Management Organisation (DMO) for Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

The three BIDs have a combined levy income of c. £2.2 million and are efficiently delivered by a committed and passionate team of 12.

The Director of BIDs will lead the combined teams and develop and oversee the strategic delivery and development of BIDs. As the reputation of our BIDs continues to rise the Director of BIDs will build strong partnerships and ensure BIDs are positioned to advocate effectively on behalf of our levy payers.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in developing and maintaining    strategic and personal relationships at the highest level within both private and public   sector organisations.

We are seeking a person with commitment and passion for Bristol city centre and a track record in place management gained from within the BID sector or beyond.

Working arrangements will involve a majority of days working in the central Bristol office combined with home/ remote working.

The salary is £60-65,000 and dependent on experience. The closing date for applications by CV is Monday 13th December.
