As we approach the 2025 Summer School, ATCM is delighted to launch the Town and City Management Industry (TCMI) Awards.

These Awards identify the best of the best across the urban place management industry whether they are based in the UK or Ireland, whether they emanate from the public, private or voluntary sectors.

Awards with a Purpose

The TCMI Awards have always been purpose driven. In addition to recognising the excellent work of ATCM’s members, they also serve to support the dissemination of best practice to other towns and strengthen ATCM’s ability to undertake advocacy with the UK, Irish, Scottish and Welsh Governments and the Northern Ireland Executive.

There are two things to remember in relation to our awards. Firstly, we welcome awards from all practitioner members whether councils, BIDs, independent town centre partnerships, or property owners. Our criteria on cost effectiveness and scalability have been included to ensure even smaller members with more limited resources doing great work can get the recognition they deserve.

Secondly, as in previous years we are going ‘all in’ on schemes that are different from the ordinary. The scoring will be weighted towards ‘innovation’ which is worth triple points.
