What is Let’s Celebrate Towns?

Let’s Celebrate Towns is a nationwide showcase, shining the spotlight on hundreds of towns across the UK that are helping businesses and communities to thrive. It is run in partnership with the British Retail Consortium.

Last year’s competition saw Towns up and down the country, from Bromsgrove to Banbridge, and Kilmarnock to Pontypridd, recognised for their achievements at a National Towns Showcase in the Houses of Parliament.

This year’s competition will spotlight leading examples of how Towns are delivering excellence in four categories:

  1. Business Environment

  2. People & Skills

  3. Infrastructure

  4. Sustainability

Two Towns per category will receive a £15,000 prize and a package of support for local businesses.
