About the Event
7 months on, it's time to take stock. Local authorities across England have either been monitoring or actively pursuing new legislation which aims to bring empty property back into use.
HSRAs were introduced in December 2024. However, the timeline for implementation to get potential tenants to a stage where they can bid for long-term, vacant units can take months. This session of High Street Conversations will explore how local authorities are progressing, what hurdles they have encountered and what opportunities have emerged.
