About the Event
The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, also commonly known as Martyn’s Law, received Royal Assent on the 3rd April 2025. Publicly accessible venues and businesses will have to take reasonable steps to improve their preparedness for potential terrorist attacks.
There will be an implementation period of at least 24 months. This will enable those responsible for premises and events to have sufficient time to understand their new obligations, and to plan and prepare accordingly. The Government is using this time to ensure those responsible for premises and events can comply with the Act without needing to buy specialist services.
As part of this process, The Home Office is joining forces with ATCM to engage with the place management industry to provide valuable support on the implementation of Martyn’s Law. All UK based members are invited to take part in this important meeting.
This meeting will not be recorded. To…
