ATCM Wales: Assessing the Battle for the Senedd and Implications for the High Street

Wales could be on the brink of a historic election.

As the nation prepares to select the parties who will control power from Cardiff Bay, polling suggests that Labour will fail to win the Senedd for the first time since its creation and fail to be the largest party for the first time in over 100 years.

With the polarisation of voter sentiment bringing both Plaid and Reform to the fore, and a new 'closed proportional list system' being introduced for this election, there is uncertainty over what this means for policy-making in Wales.
