ATCM South West: Towards a High Street Strategy

A recent newspaper article suggested that high street decline was helping to drive strong polling numbers for the Reform Party. As a consequence, the UK Government feels the need to act.

This meeting of the ATCM South West network will discuss the forthcoming High Street Strategy, why it exists and what we know. ATCM members will have the opportunity to contribute their ideas which will be passed on to MHCLG.

Following Bath’s Britain in Bloom win, we will also discuss the revitalisation of civic space and local pride using urban greening and horticulture.

Finally, we will discuss the return of M&S to Bath City Centre and explore whether there are lessons to be learned on how to entice national retailers back to the high street.
