About the Event
Anti-social behaviour has become a significant barrier to a welcoming high street. Home Office research indicates that the knock-on impact of 'low level crime' can have a high level of detrimental impact with users avoiding hotspots leading to a spiral of decline. It has become one of the palace management industry's top issues.
The next meeting of the North East and Yorkshire regional group will explore the work of Gateshead in dealing with anti-social behaviour head on. This will include a study tour plus a discussion on public policy dealing with ASB, including the Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee and development of ASB Action Plans.
There will also be time for a member's round up and a discussion on the latest public policy announcements including the Small Business Strategy, the Pride in Place Programme, BIDs reform, and Local Government Reorganisation.
This meeting is open to all members of the ATCM and prospective members that would like to find out more about the…
