Research from the Retail Trust suggests that crime and ASB on the shop floor is getting worse, not better. Is this a fair reflection of the reality on high streets – or is this a sign that a call to report and record crime is getting traction?

The next meeting of ATCM Midlands will discuss the latest on safety and security on high streets and in our town centres and city centres. We will explore the success of the Safer Streets Summer Initiative, present the research from the Retail Trust and provide an update on other government work to improve safety and security including Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee and Martyn’s Law.

There will also be an opportunity for the usual member round up to discuss Christmas preparations and a public policy update.
