The public realm and the built environment can dictate so much about sentiment surrounding a town or city centre. It can influence footfall, inward investment, café culture and even climate resilience. However, so many areas struggle through a lack of investment and fragmented ownership. Where can we find the money to invest in our public realm and what should modern shared space look like?

This meeting of ATCM London will discuss funding opportunities for public realm investment – most notably new forthcoming legislation of Property Owner BIDs. We will also explore case studies on investment to see how we can raise the attractiveness of our shared space for the benefit of all.
