ATCM Budget Special

Growth in the UK has flatlined. With numerous challenges, concerns that the UK is falling behind other major economies in its post-pandemic recovery. This sets a difficult context for the first Budget of Chancellor, Jeremy Hunt MP.

The issue the Chancellor is keen to address above all others is the labour shortage that has suffocated businesses and public services, including those which play a key role in high street vibrancy.

This ATCM Budget Special will assess the strengths and weaknesses of the Budget, not least, measures to increase the supply of labour.
