About the Event
Events have become a central tool that place management leverages to build footfall in town and city centres. For this reason, recent music-related mega events including Eurovision, Taylor Swift, and Oasis have captured the attention of many. However, footfall does not automatically translate to more money on the bottom line.
As events remain critical to the industry and as England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland prepare to host the UEFA Euros in 2028, we must incorporate lessons from previous events to understand their true economic impact. Join us for a session with CityCo Manchester to analyse recent events, followed by a discussion of how to refine our work to ensure these events work for high streets.
