We Need Your Help!

8 months following a change in UK Government, a huge number of significant issues are up for debate as we witness big shifts in policy. This includes issues impacting business rates, the cost of operating, the future of funding programmes, local government reorganisation, regeneration, crime and anti-social behaviour.

With an urgent need to influence parliamentary debate the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Town Centres has reconvened following the election of officers. Chair elect, Vikki Slade MP, joined members and partners of ATCM to set the agenda for the group over the coming year.

The final step to constituting the group is to build a sustainable parliamentary membership base. This can be any MP, Lord or Lady that is not a minister. And we need your help!

Contact your MP now and ask them to be a member of the APPG for Town Centres to allow us to progress to the next phase. There need not be any great burden on their time. Attendance at APPG events is not mandatory. But this would demonstrate their support to the high street agenda.

Joining is simple. They just need to email the ATCM CEO, Ojay McDonald (ojay.mcdonald@atcm.org) as the secretariat of the group to express their desire to join.
