Sidcup Business Improvement District - Manager

Salary circa: £35,000 -£40,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
24hrs hours per week

Based at Your Move 1 Elm Parade Main Road Sidcup DA14 6NF

Five Year Fixed Contract until the end of the first BID period (2022) subject to probationary period. BIDs can run for a maximum of five years before a new ballot must be sought.

Following a successful ballot of town centre businesses at the end of November , the Sidcup BID Board is now looking to appoint an experienced Town Centre Management or BID practitioner to  set up and run the Business Improvement District.

We are looking for a self-starter with the passion and enthusiasm to deliver the varied projects outlined in our Business Plan over the next five years. Our vision is to make Sidcup a vibrant and  prosperous town where businesses flourish, footfall increases and living, working or visiting our  town is a truly memorable experience.

The right candidate will be experienced in working in a Town Centre setting, a leader of people with outstanding communication skills who is able to influence others and develop positive  collaborative relationships. You will have well-honed business skills and a real desire to achieve  results which will enable you to deliver a clear return on investment for BID levy payers.

Your management experience will ensure you are confident in all situations and have the tangible skills to back this up, delivering strong budget management, excellent stakeholder engagement, effective project management and insightful ideas for future development. A passionate  ambassador for the BID, you will communicate its aims and objectives to diverse audiences  including levy payers, stakeholders and potential investors across public, private and third sector organisations. You will keep the Board fully up-todate and provided with all the information it  needs to steer the BID programme through successfully.
