Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames is going through a major stage of transformation, forging ahead with creative proposals to ensure Kingston responds to Growth demands and changing needs whilst developing and delivering for its residents and investors. Kingston Futures, the Borough's ambitious Regeneration Programme looks to deliver a range of sites and projects that will make Kingston one of the leading polycentric towns of London. 

The Town Centres Regeneration Coordinator is a newly created role which uniquely, is co-funded with Kingston First, highlighting a collaborative and co-ordinated approach to managing, promoting and communicating a broad development agenda in the town.

This role has become increasingly important in this ambition as development, regeneration and public realm works are implemented over the next 10 years. Kingston is seeing a high volume of projects requiring physical constructions works on highways, public footpaths and open spaces. These projects include Go Cycle - delivering cycle infrastructure on our roads. Public Realm - delivering high quality and improved design of our public spaces in and around the Town Centre. Kingston Futures - delivering housing, commercial and leisure facilities in key sites in Town Centre and beyond. All of which require a great level of coordination, partnership working and communication with stakeholders. 

The post holder will work closely with the Kingston First and the Borough Council to ensure works are best coordinated and key information is communicated to businesses and stakeholders, making them aware of major works and supporting them to mitigate against any business disruption.
