Location: Exeter

Job Type: BID Manager. Contract (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £50,000-£53,000 (pro rata)

InExeter has just been successfully renewed for a further 5-years 2020-2025, with the new term commencing on 1 April 2020 with an extended area. The company is seeking a BID Manager (on an interim basis for maternity cover), with experience in stakeholder, project and people management, and preferably experience of running a Business Improvement District (or Town Centre Management organisation), to help take InExeter forward and deliver the initiatives set out in the BID’s Business Plan.


InExeter represents circa 600 businesses across the city centre including retail, leisure, hospitality, venues, office and commercial sectors. Exeter is a thriving city centre with an engaged business community.


This interim role would be perfect for a deputy BID Manager or Project Manager seeking experience or a secondment into a BID Manager role. 2020 will see exciting new projects delivered in the city including; delivering activities focused on our newly awarded UNESCO City of Literature status; delivery of a new sustainability / green city event weekend; supporting the work of the newly formed Exeter Homeless Partnership; tendering of new BID contracts and engagement with businesses across the newly extended BID area.
