BACKGROUND

We need a Town Centre Project Manager.

This is a new post for us and we’re really excited about what might be possible. It’s a great chance for you too; to stamp your mark on the job and to make it your own.

It’s a real time for change for us. We have a new Chief Executive and a new Service Manager for Economic Growth & Regeneration. Together with a refreshed “Gedling Plan” we have the right things in place to make a difference to local town centres and the people that work, shop and visit there. These are the places that we see as our main community hubs and we are committed to delivering our strategy to make these places better both now and for the future.

Your role will be to drive forward this priority work programme. Although you will need some relevant experience ideally in a regeneration setting, an understanding of current challenges and opportunities facing high streets and a degree in an appropriate discipline, this can also be a first-rate development opportunity for you. You’ll be supported by, and working with, a great team of people who will all share the same ambition that you do - to make a success of things.

Our office is based in a parkland setting with good public transport links and free parking. We operate flexible working schemes and would be happy to talk to 8you about any particular working arrangements or preferences that you may have.

Having heard what sort of place that we are we hope that you feel motivated to apply to us today.  We are an inclusive workforce of around 500 people and we would like to think that you would want to join us.
