About the Event

Spring 2021 could be pivotal for the future of Scotland’s town centres.

Firstly, following months of lockdown, the gradual move towards the lifting of restrictions has provided much needed relief for local economies, setting them on the road to recovery following months of disruption.

Secondly, Scotland went to the polls, returning the SNP as the largest party of Holyrood, relying on the Greens for a majority, paving the way for the first coalition in 14 years.

At the next meeting of ATCM Scotland, we Ask ‘what the new coalition means for the future of Scotland’s town centres.’ We will explore and debate the SNP manifesto, the new programme for Scottish Government, and other policies in emerging from Holyrood or Westminster to understand the future what is in store for Scotland’s town centres over the next few months and years.
