Job Title: Place Manager

Hours: 35 hours per-week. 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (with evening and weekend working on occasion as required)

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Annual Leave: 25 days per annum

The Organisation

Established in 2007, is responsible for the management of the Angel Business Improvement District (BID) covering 47 streets in the Angel, Islington.

As a not-for-profit, business-led organisation we support our 600+ BID levy-payers and work alongside strategic partners to make the Angel a safe and welcoming place to work, shop, socialise and visit.

Having recently secured a successful renewal ballot, is entering its fourth term running until March 2027 so we are now looking to recruit an individual to help strengthen our team and deliver activities to support businesses in the Angel.

The Role

This is a multi-faceted, customer-facing role so we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is willing to take ownership of their work and show initiative.

You’ll be working out and about a lot of the time undertaking audits of the area and meeting business owners and managers, so a keen eye for detail and professional, personable approach is all important.

Whilst in the office you’ll be using our Customer Relationship Management system and databases so strong business admin skills will be required. A working knowledge of BIDs and/or town centre management is great, but not essential.
