Alexander Nicoll, to step down as ATCM Chairman after Six years to return to local government politics

ATCM Chairman, Alexander Nicoll, will step down at the end of the February 2017, after six years leading the organisation, to return to local politics. Alexander previously served for 16 years as a member of Westminster City Council from 1994 to 2010 and was Lord Mayor of Westminster between 2006 – 2007.

 ‘Alexander has made a valuable contribution to ATCM over the years and I would like to thank him for his commitment to our industry during his time as Chairman. We wish him luck in his endeavours and hope that he will continue to play his part in place making at a local level’, said Shanaaz Carroll, Chief Executive of ATCM.

‘ATCM will be seeking a new Chairman in the coming months, with a view to an appointment later in the year. I am however delighted to announce that Graham Chase, ATCM’s current President and someone who is well known within the industry, will be standing in as Interim Chair for six months to support this process.’

Graham Chase is a senior partner at Chase & Partners and was previously ATCM Chairman. Graham is Chairman of the Covent Garden Area Trust, a visiting professor at Westminster University, an Honorary Fellow at London South Bank University and Chairman of Saracens High School  Multi Academy Trust.
