Sarah Walker is the Purple Flag and ENTE Programme Manager at ATCM. During this time she has helped to grow the Purple Flag Programme, currently now at over 70 locations in the UK and Ireland and has also helped to deliver on projects, campaigns and new documentation to support the programme.Sarah also supports the International Purple Flag programme in Canada, Sweden and New Zealand. Ojay McDonald

Ojay McDonald is the Chief Executive of ATCM. In this role he works with Government Ministers, parliamentarians, economic development professionals, business leaders and place-makers across the UK and Ireland to support town and city centres. He works on a range of policy issues including tax reform, local government finance, the EU and UN Urban Agenda, devolution, the Northern Powerhouse, transport, housing, planning, retail and urban regeneration. Laura Blake, Public Affairs Assistant

Laura Blake joined ATCM in 2020 as Public Affairs Assistant. In this role, she has been supporting the effort to provide real-time communications to place managers on COVID-19 and Brexit Transition. She provides support on the running of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Town Centres. More

Karen Shields is the ATCM Membership Manager. Karen is a previous town centre manager and really understands the challenges of making great places. She is also a Purple Flag Assessor. Lisa Carlson

Lisa Carlson

Lisa, CEO of Canterbury BID, became Chair of the ATCM Board of Directors in 2020. During her time in Canterbury, Lisa has shown excellent qualities as a place manager giving businesses more of a voice in local decision making, introducing innovative and collaborative ways of working with local authorities and community groups and supporting Purple Flag to evolve. This led to her quick ascent to the position of Chair of the South East network in 2018. More
