ATCM Appoints a Permanent Chief Executive
Ojay McDonald to lead the Town and City Management Industry in the UK and Ireland
The ATCM board are delighted to confirm the appointment of Ojay McDonald as CEO, with immediate effect.
Ojay has been a valued member of the team at ATCM for a number of years and has been instrumental in supporting the ATCM to remain the largest membership organisation for Place Managers in the UK and Ireland.
Working with partners across the globe, Ojay is internationally recognised for his contributions to place management and public policy, working with government ministers, parliamentarians, economic development professionals, business leaders and place-makers across the UK and Ireland to build the reputation of the town & city management industry. He works on a range of issues including representation for place leaders, tax reform, local government finance, the EU & UN Urban Agendas, the Industrial Strategy, the UK’s exit from the EU, devolution, the Northern Powerhouse, transport, housing, retail and urban regeneration.
Ojay has not only supported the credibility and professionalisation of the place management industry but is a true advocate for the industry.
