BID Director - WV One
WV One (Wolverhampton) Ltd wishes to appoint a BID DIRECTOR On a fixed term contract for 18 months, commencing on or around 2nd April 2012<>Salary: £55,000 per annum with a bonus of £8,000 for a successful outcome
We are passionate about making Wolverhampton City Centre a great place to shop, visit, live and work and are seeking an inspirational individual to help take us to the next stage.
We are looking for someone creative, tenacious and who is an excellent communicator to take up the role of Business Improvement District (BID) Director to deliver all phases of a BID development programme.
Reporting to WV One board, the successful candidate will need to finalise the feasibility phase, lead on all aspects of consultation and engagement, determine priorities, write the BID business plan and deliver an effective marketing campaign leading to a BID ballot in the autumn of 2013.
The post requires a high level of interpersonal, communication and project management skills. Previous experience/evidence of a successful track record in project management, strategic leadership, financial management and marketing skills is essential; experience in leading other BID Development processes would be an advantage.
This post has been supported by Wolverhampton City Council and the post holder will be expected to liaise closely with officers and members during the development phase.
