 Stoke-on-Trent City Centre Business Plan 2006 - 2009
Making places work for a huge range of different users in a competitive world is no simple task. Stoke-on-Trent has fallen behind its peer cities in stepping up to the challenge of regeneration. The City Council and key stakeholders in the city are now grasping that challenge and have a clear vision for the city that will be led by the transformation of the City Centre.

 Event Organisation
This booklet has been produced as part of a guidance pack to give you information about how to apply to Tameside Council for permission to hold an event on the Council’s land. It tells you about the things you are responsible for as an event organiser and is equally useful even if your event is to be held on private land. The guide gives general advice that can be used for almost any event, but additional things may apply to specialist activities or very large attractions. It is not intended to be a step by step formula for creating an event and concentrates on the sort of things you should think about.

Reading 2010
Reading City Centre Management (RCCM) is a public/private partnership concerned with the strategic development of central Reading; its core areas of influence are urban regeneration, inward investment and the physical development & expansion of central Reading. The vision of the Board is that: Reading City Centre will continue to develop as the dynamic and creative heart of the capital of the Thames Valley; and that all who visit will notice the difference... A key strategic role of City Centre Management is attracting development and investment to the centre. Board representatives work closely with landowners, developers, commercial property agents, the Council and others to help facilitate this and have developed a strategy and action plan for the next five years: Reading City Centre 2010 - you'll notice the difference is a five year strategy and action plan for the future urban regeneration, inward investment and economic development of central Reading. The strategy embraces the themes of Reading's first Community Strategy and draws on a range of existing strategies that together will influence the evolution of the city centre during the next five years. Developed by RCCM, it has now been adopted by the 2020 Partnership Board as well as Reading Borough Council. This endorsement provides a clear and comprehensive way forward for all partners involved in transforming Reading's centre into a cosmopolitan and European city destination.
