Stevenage Town Centre Management Company
A successful Town Centre is vital to every business operating in Stevenage and to every person who comes here to shop, work and socialise. Residents and visitors' views of Stevenage are inextricably bound to their view of the Town Centre and, as such, the Town Centre is the "image" of Stevenage that visitors take away. Stevenage residents and workers need and deserve a Town Centre of which they can be proud. Staff recruitment, retention, particularly at senior management level, is easier in a town where residents are proud to live. The Stevenage Town Centre Management Company is a joint venture between local businesses and Stevenage Borough Council. Our Mission "To work in successful partnership with the public and private sectors, to continue improving the vitality and commercial viability of Stevenage Town Centre and to create a town where shopping, working, living and spending leisure time is an enjoyable experience".

Peterborough Street Wardens
Peterborough Street Wardens help to make the city centre streets a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all. Highly visible in their distinctive orange and black uniforms, the Wardens have been carefully selected and well trained to make a real difference to the quality of life in the city centre. Peterborough's Street Wardens are not Police Officers. They do not have the powers of arrest. Rather, they are ordinary citizens who provide a vital link between the local community and a host of local agencies, including the Police. They are the eyes, ears and friends of local residents, retailers and businesses.

Huntingdon Town Centre Partnership
Town and City Centre Management is now successfully established in over 360 towns in the UK. Huntingdon Town Centre Partnership (the Partnership) is a genuinely pro-active organisation, which, in recent years, has improved the town centre for both businesses and visitors alike. One of the Partnership's key projects, the Continental Market, is now an annual event, attracting literally thousands of visitors from across the East Anglian region. Huntingdon Business Against Crime is another key initiative of the Partnership and is the first scheme of its kind in Cambridgeshire to tackle crime using state-of-the-art technology and first-hand communication tools. Regular networking meetings are held for members of the Partnership, offering business opportunities, a chance to be heard - and to hear of plans for the town - and an opportunity to make a real difference. The town offers a broad variety of national retailers, including Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Claire's Accessories and an imaginative mix of independent retailers and service businesses. Huntingdon is a rapidly developing town, experiencing genuine economic growth. The Partnership encourages town centre businesses and key stakeholders to work together in a proactive way, to help the town build on its strengths and respond to its challenges, as well as working closely with property developers to offer retail potential to an interesting mix of small and large businesses.
