ATCM Members' Insurance

Increasingly Town Centre Partnerships are finding that the cost of cover is rising sharply when it comes to taking out or renewing their insurance policy. Independent Insurance is essential where partnerships are operating a separate entity, even if attached to a local authority.

As a result ATCM has leveraged its growing membership to negotiate a comprehensive "All Risks" package exclusively for members with Zurich Municipal Insurance:

  • Employers Liability up to £10,000,000
  • Public Liability up to £5,000,000
  • Contents of Business Premises up to £5,000

We are delighted to be able to offer a straightforward yet comprehensive insurance package.

This insurance is only available to qualifying ATCM Members. To be eligible your organisation must be established for the purpose of town or city centre management and must be not for profit and a seperate legal entity from a Local Authority. If you would like to check your organisations eligibility please contact ATCM on the number below.

The key components are:

  • Flat rate premium (depending on salary levels applied for)
  • Single page Q & A application form
  • Access to the Insurance Company Helplines, which cover commercial legal advice, tax advice, business assistance and employee or volunteer counselling.

ATCM act as the administrator and the insurance will be underwritten by Zurich Municipal Insurance. Please see the Insurance Application Form and Summary of Cover for what is included and the cost of the premium.

To apply for insurance cover please download and complete the application form and submit it to ATCM by fax on +44 (0)20 7227 3460, post it to 1 Queen Anne's Gate, Westminster, London, SW1H 9BT or by scanning and attaching to an email to insurance@atcm.org

Your insurance will not take effect until your application has been approved (you will be advised in writing by ATCM). We will expedite all requests but this may take up to 14 days. You will be invoiced when certification is sent to you. Payment will be due immediately. Your insurance will be cancelled if payment is not received within 30 days and you will be notified of this by email.
