The Store Concept - Open days for Town Centre Managers

« Back

Wednesday 21 October 2009
Academy, 12 Cavendish Street, Keighley BD21 3RG

The Store consists of nine smaller retail units offering a range of products. Each of the retailers housed in these units are new to the industry and have to come to The STORE for support from Leeds City College and Bradford Council's successful Kickstart programme during their first year of trading.

The National Skills Academy for Retail and Leeds Retail Skills Academy, one of the 18 skills shops members of the National Skills Academy for Retail, have agreed to organise open days to allow ATCM Members to visit The Store. This is a great example of what can be done with empty units in a retail location but also it is an opportunity for start up/first time retailers to learn their trade in a supportive and learning environment.
