6) ATCM champion of the Year 2007/8 - KINDLY SPONSORED BY BLACHERE ILLUMINATION
There are some real heroes who give so much to support their locality.  This award is not necessarily intended for the Town Centre Manager, but could be those individuals who have made a major contribution to the concept of place management.
We requested nominations for a person, from either the private, public or community sector, whose efforts deserved recognition either because they have acted as the driving force to setting up a new partnership, because they made an outstanding contribution over a period of time, revitalised an existing structure or otherwise changed their locality.

WINNER - Duncan Currall, Plymouth

Short-listed in this category:
Plymouth: Duncan Currall
