Light Night

The concept originated in Paris, but parallel events now also take place in Brussels, Rome and dozens of cities in Italy.  There are also approx.70 cities in Germany who take part..

These cities stay up all night in order to celebrate La Blanc Nuit or La Notte Bianca – the Light Night – an all-night spectacular encompassing art and culture, cinema, food, music, shopping, theatre and much more.

Light Night Leeds– 12th October 2007
Following the extremely successful second Light Night in October 2006, the third will be held on 12th October 2007.  The aim of Light Night is to encourage city centre venues and those further afield to open their doors out of hours and to provide a form of entertainment not usually available.
